Job Summary
As a Technical Consultant, Information Technology you will be responsible for all technical aspects of SR&ED claims and other programs an MCN client may be applying for. You will be working in a team led by an Account Manager and will coordinate your work with a Financial consultant and other consultants, members of your team. We are looking for a professional person capable of working independently and handling multiple projects with firm deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Assuming full responsibility for all the aspects of MCN’s consulting engagements with clients pertaining to technology/product/process development, experiments and other areas of R&D.
- Liaising with a client’s executives and technical personnel, identifying technological challenges and writing technical reports for inclusion with the client’s SR&ED claims as well as other documentation of technical nature as may be required during the term of MCN engagement with the client.
- Analyzing client's business process and software/product development methodologies and helping clients to optimize them in order to ensure compliance with reporting requirements as well as to maximize the client's return.
- Consulting and supporting clients on an ongoing basis as may be requested by a customer, an Account Manager and other members of the team.
Qualifications
- University degree in the field of computer science or technology
- Demonstrated ability to lead software development teams or manage software development functions within an organizations
- Familiarity with the latest developments and advances in computer science and related fields and understanding of the technological challenges faced by the industry
- Superb technical writing skills
- Excellent communication skills (in-person and over the phone)
- High level of professionalism and personal integrity
- Ability to work independently and simultaneously handle multiple projects with firm deadlines
- Familiarity with SR&ED and IRAP programs is highly desirable, but not mandatory
Compensation
